Vegetarian Thanksgiving Burgers

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups prepared mashed potatoes (skins on provides more texture)
  • 4 cups prepared stuffing (or dressing- prepare according to directions-can use homemade)
  • 1 3/4 cups cooked green beans (or one 14 oz. can cut green beans, drained)
  • 1 cup french's french fried onions (if whole, break in pieces)
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon margarine (for sauteing onions)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • gravy (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 prepare mashed potatoes and stuffing, set aside.
  • 2 in a pan, on medium high heat, melt margarine and add onions and garlic and saute until just beginning to brown.
  • 3 mix all ingredients together in a bowl and form into patties.
  • 4 pan fry, in oil, about 3-5 minutes per side or bake at 350*f. for about 20 minutes.
  • 5 everything is already cooked, you just need to heat them.
  • 6 great served open faced on a grilled sourdough roll with gravy on top. enjoy!
