Tvp Vegan Sloppy Joes

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 2 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 -2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (i use sucanat)
  • 1 1/2 cups dry textured vegetable protein

Recipe

  • 1 saute onion and green pepper in oil.
  • 2 add remaining ingredients and simmer together for 20 minutes.
