Swiss-nut Cheese Ball

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (i used a shredded cheddar or mozzarella mix)
  • 8 ounces swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans are good, i haven't tried toasted but i bet that would be good)
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped (optional- you may also use chopped fresh parsley, or fresh thyme)

Recipe

  • 1 place cheddar, swiss, and cream cheese, sour cream, worcestershire sauce, paprika, black pepper, and garlic salt in a medium bowl.
  • 2 place in a food processor and pulse until well blended.
  • 3 in bowl, place nuts and chives, if using. stir to mix.
  • 4 shape mixture into a ball, roll in the chopped nuts and chives(if using).
  • 5 wrap in waxed paper or plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving time.
  • 6 serve with raw vegetables or crackers.
