Tomatillo Broken Wheat Pudding

Ingredients

- 4 tomatillos
- 1/2 cup onion
- 4 pieces fresh ginger
- 2 green chilies
- 1 pinch ground cumin
- 1 pinch paprika or 1 pinch red chili powder
- 1 pinch turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro
- 1 1/2 cups bulgur wheat
- 3 cups water
Recipe
- 1 fry onions in vegetable oil.add green chilies and ginger.
- 2 add the tomatillos and keep frying.
- 3 add cumin, paprika, turmeric.
- 4 add broken wheat.add cilantro and then add water.
- 5 cover with lid for abt 20 minutes.
- 6 for a mexican version of the same dish, add pinch of orgeno and jalapeno instead of green chilies.
