Pfannekuchens

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • milk (to desired consistency)
  • vegetable oil (for frying)
  • syrup
  • powdered sugar

Recipe

  • 1 mix together all ingredients, except milk.
  • 2 add milk last until batter is almost water thin.
  • 3 heat 1-2 tablespoon vegetable oil in small pan over medium heat.
  • 4 when oil is hot, add about 1/4 cup batter; rotate pan until bottom is covered with batter. (tip: tilt pan just a little and rotate slowly.).
  • 5 when batter is almost "dry" (cooked) on top, flip onto other side.
  • 6 when other side is slightly browned, remove from pan.
  • 7 swirl with syrup and roll up.
  • 8 serve sprinkled with powdered sugar and more syrup (if desired).
