Strawberry Pie

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar, plus
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons strawberry gelatin
- 1 quart strawberry, washed and hulled
- whipped cream (optional)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 450 degrees f.
- 2 mix together flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, milk, salt and oil.
- 3 press mixture into a 9-inch pie plate.
- 4 bake for 10 minutes.
- 5 set crust aside to cool.
- 6 in a sauce pan, heat 1 cup sugar, corn syrup, cornstarch and water until clear and thickened.
- 7 stir in strawberry gelatin, cool.
- 8 fold strawberries into the cooled gelatin mixture.
- 9 pour into crust and chill for at least 2 hours.
- 10 cut into wedges and serve.
- 11 great with whipped cream.
- 12 refridgerate leftovers (if there any).
