- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 teaspoons vanilla

- 1 making sauce with flour and milk. cook until thick. cool, cream sugar and shortening. add the cooled sauce and add vanilla. beat with mixer until light and fluffy.
