Yummy Salsa Verde

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs small tomatillos
  • 2 medium onions, quartered
  • 1 garlic, bulb use all cloves
  • 5 serrano peppers, snap off stem
  • garlic salt
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lime, juice of
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 peel and wash tomatillos.
  • 2 put whole tomatillos in a 13x9 dish, add onion, garlic cloves and peppers (whole).
  • 3 drizzle evoo over everything and season with garlic salt.
  • 4 bake at 400 degrees for an hour.
  • 5 let cool and put in blender.
  • 6 add salt, juice from lime and cilantro to taste.
