Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 285 ml milk
- 115 g plain flour (all-purpose)
- 3 eggs
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
- vegetables or sunflower oil
Recipe
- 1 whisk together the egg, flour, milk and seasoning until absolutely smooth and set aside for at least ten minutes.
- 2 meanwhile, heat the oven to 250°c pour a little oil into each section of a muffin or cupcake tin (if making individual puds), so the bottom is covered a couple of millimetres deep.
- 3 place the tray in the oven and heat until the oil is super hot.
- 4 pour in enough batter to each hole to third-fill it, then place back in the oven immediately.
- 5 very important: do not open the oven door again while they are cooking! cook for about 20 minutes, until crispy and puffy.
