Vegetables In Garlic Cream Sauce

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup asparagus, chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli, chopped
  • 1 cup carrot, chopped
  • 1 cup cauliflower, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup fat-free mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup nonfat milk
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 place water in a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
  • 2 add vegetables; reduce heat to low.
  • 3 cook, uncovered, 9-12 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • 4 meanwhile, heat oil in small saucepan over medium heat.
  • 5 add garlic; cook and stir until golden brown.
  • 6 remove from heat; stir in mayonnaise and milk.
  • 7 drain vegetables; place in serving bowl.
  • 8 pour in garlic sauce; toss to evenly coat.
  • 9 sprinkle with parsley.
