Yellow Squash With Basil

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 lbs yellow squash, sliced
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup basil, finely chopped
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2 saute squash until browned, about 5 minutes.
- 3 add garlic; saute 1 minute.
- 4 add water, salt and pepper.
- 5 simmer until squash is tender, 6-7 minutes.
- 6 stir in basil.
