Sweet And Sour Ribs

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 packages lamb ribs, split individually
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 large onion, cut into eighths
- 1/4 cup ketchup
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in a large wok over medium high heat and brown ribs-around 10 minutes.
- 2 add the soy sauce and continue browning.
- 3 add the vinegar and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- 4 add brown sugar and simmer 10 minutes more.
- 5 you might need a bit more vinegar at this point.
- 6 you want the sauce thick but fluid.
- 7 add the peppers and onions and cook for 5 minutes.
- 8 add the ketchup and stir.
- 9 taste and adjust the vinegar/brown sugar ratio.
- 10 if needed add cornstarch to thicken.
