Sweet And Sour German Spinach

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 slices breakfast bacon, not maple bacon
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen spinach (defrosted)
  • 1/4 small onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar

Recipe

  • 1 fry bacon in medium skillet until almost crisp.
  • 2 fry onion in bacon grease until soft.
  • 3 remove onion and bacon from grease.
  • 4 place spinach in grease, stirring until hot.
  • 5 return onion and bacon to skillet.
  • 6 mix sugar and vinegar.
  • 7 beat egg then mix with vinegar and sugar.
  • 8 pour over spinach.
  • 9 cook 2-5 minute.
  • 10 salt to taste.
