Wild Rice

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth

Recipe

  • 1 layer rice and vegetables in slow cooker. pour oil, salt and pepper over vegetables. stir.
  • 2 heat chicken broth and pour over vegetables. cover and cook on high 2-3 hours, until rice is tender.
