Warm Mustard Sauce

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/2 cup dijon mustard

Recipe

  • 1 heat the oil in a saucepan.
  • 2 add the onion and pepper.
  • 3 cook until just soft (do not brown).
  • 4 add the garlic, celery seed and dijon.
  • 5 heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • 6 remove from the heat and allow the sauce to sit for 15 minutes.
