Szechuan Broccoli (chinese)

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 6 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets, in bite-size pieces

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl combine soy sauce, vinegar & sugar, then set aside.
  • 2 in a skillet over medium heat, add sesame seeds & cook for 1 minute, then remove seeds & set aside.
  • 3 to the skillet add oil, red pepper, ginger & garlic & cook for 30 seconds, then add broccoli & cook for another minute.
  • 4 add soy mixture, then cover the pan & cook for 2 minutes, before sprinkling the sesame seeds over the broccoli & serving.
