Mega Protein Mush

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup hearty oats or 1 cup oat bran or 1/2 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 cup textured vegetable protein
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 add all ingredients and bring to a boil over a low heat, stirring occasionally. reduce heat and cover. depending on your preferences, you can reduce the heat to a simmer for 5-10 more minutes or until the mush is very dense. if you prefer a less thick, chewier mush you can cover and let sit for 5-10 minutes.
