Beans With Oregano

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped (1 cup)
- 3 garlic cloves, minced (1 tbsp)
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 (15 ounce) cans cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup water
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
- 2 add onion, saute for 5-7 minutes or until onion starts to brown.
- 3 stir in garlic and oregano and cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
- 4 add beans, water, salt and pepper.
- 5 reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 15 minutes or until half f the liquid has evaporated.
